A travel essential

I cannot fly without an oversized scarf. It is stylish but can also double up as a blanket, or even a lightweight jacket! I love the Zara “soft scarf” £19.99, they come in a range of colours (I have a grey one already) but this one in blush pink had to come home with me! They are super soft and oversized so a perfect travel companion, my daughter always has one too!

The Bag Scarf

I love this trend for tying scarves around your bags in different ways. It is a great way to update a bag and to use your scarves! Below is my Mulberry with a Zara scarf simply tied. The colours work really well together and just adds something special to an already gorgeous bag!

Embellishments

I do love a bit of bling, and these super cute brooches from H&M (£9.99) are just the thing. They are perfect for my denim jacket, giving it an instant uplift!

Embellishing denim jackets with iron on patches is very on trend but too permanent for my liking, so these are a great alternative.

Monica Vinader Skinny Love

As you know I am obsessed with Monica Vinader – I have many many rings from here that I have collected over the years (see here). A few weeks ago the sale email popped into my inbox and I had to take a look. BIG mistake because I immediately fell in love with this rose gold, emerald skinny ring (£150 reduced from £300).

I knew instantly it would look perfect next to my diamond version, I was right and I haven’t taken them off since!

The Woven Shopper

I have been after a “spare tote bag” to take to work in which I can carry my lunch, flat shoes etc. so that my handbag didn’t get over stuffed and my shoulder didn’t break from the weight!
I found the perfect solution in Phase Eight.

This beautiful leather woven shopper is ideal.

Firstly it is that perfect blush pink and more amazingly reversible to the perfect grey – a multi seasonal bag! The size is just right, not too big but big enough to carry all my bits! Inside you also get a small pouch which comes in handy for extra small items like tissues. I have also regularly used this as my handbag. I got this while there was a 20% offer on but at full price (£59) I think its worth every penny. A hardworking but beautiful bag!

My Bespoke Baia Bags

Baia Bags are a UK based handmade handbag brand that sell both ready made and bespoke handbags. They change their styles and fabrics seasonally and are just such a unique and exciting brand. I have been following Baia bags for a while now, knowing one day I would put in an order for a bespoke handbag.

When they released images of their gold speckled leather I knew the time had come! I ordered a Shoulder Bag in the mole speckle lid and a mix of charcoal suede and black leather with gold fixings.

I also ordered a Small Pouch in the mole speckle to go with my handbag and I had both embossed with my initials.

The shoulder bag was £390 and the pouch £38.

They are stunning. I think the bag is so unique and so me, I absolutely adore it. The pouch is perfect to keep small things safe in my handbag or as a mini evening clutch. I love that everything is handmade here in the UK and so lovingly put together. Susy who works at Baia was am absolute pleasure and made the whole experience lovely.

I am so happy that I have a Baia bag in my collection and am pretty sure there will be more in the future. I am also thinking those pouches would make perfect gifts…

Blush Pink is the new Black

So it probably comes as no surprise that blush pink is my new favourite colour and I have slowly been accumulating a few items in that colour palette.
First is the beautiful lace skirt from Zara (£29.99). Its just a simple pencil skirt that is totally elevated by the lace and more importantly the colour. I am wearing it with a lovely gold-flecked t-shirt also from Zara (£15.99).

Next is this cut-out bomber jacket also from Zara. Again the colour for me is everything but the laser cut out detail is really pretty and unique. Bombers are very in this season and I think this is a good investment as I think it will still be relevant next year and year after!

I thought it would be cool to include this bomber jacket from New Look (£24.99) that my daughter begged me for. It is a lovely blush satin and looks super cute with loads of different outfits. She definitely loves it!

Whilst in New Look I also got myself this zip-front mini skirt (£19.99). Although it isn’t completely pink it has lots of pink in it which is what drew me in! Worn with the same Zara t-shirt as earlier.

Of course I had to include my new Asos jacket here too.

Finally from Forever 21 is this pretty midi dress with lace detail on the sleeves (£25). This is a darker blush but still so pretty and easy to wear. I love the lace detail as it add something special to a simple dress.

I thought I would also include some accessories in this post that I am loving in this palette –
Pink scarf H&M (£9.99)
