Topshop Haul

I don’t tend to buy a lot from Topshop but these two purchases have definitely re-kindled my love for Topshop!

First is this beautiful jacquard pink and gold pencil skirt. I got this in the sale for £22. The material is stunning and I love the slit in the front.

In a completely opposite fashion direction I got this ripped band tee (£26). I don’t normally wear t-shirts but I love the holes and the fit of this. Great for casual days but also works really well with a smart skirt!

The Drugstore Double Cleanse

I love a good double cleanse and I find starting with an oil to remove all your make-up followed by a cream to really cleanse your skin is the best approach. I have been using this combination and loving it. They are both from Boots and inexpensive but effective.

The Facial Cleansing Oil from L’Oreal (£5.33) is great, it removes everything easily, even waterproof mascara. It smells lovely and doesn’t leave any residue on the skin.

The Ultimelt by Soap and Glory (£10) has a blend of essential oils – orange, lavender, clary sage, rose and geranium with sweet almond oil and cocoa butter to dissolve dirt and make up and provitamin B5 to soften the skin. This is a classic hot cloth cleanser and works so well as the second cleanse.

A great skincare duo from the high street.

Rediscovering Weleda

I had forgotten how much I loved Weleda Bath Milks – these three are my favourites – Rosemary, Pine and Lavender (12.95 each). The Pine and Rosemary are really uplifting and energising – great for a hangover bath or when you have a cold.

The Lavender of course is my bedtime staple. These do not foam which I prefer.

I also wanted to try the Wild Rose Body oil (£21.95). This  oil can be used on your body, hair and face. I have many been using this on my face. It is a beautiful almond oil base and the rose smells incredible. My kin has definitely  been enjoying this!

Intensely Hydrating Face Mask

This No7 Hydration Mask (£12.50) has been around for a while, but I only recently discovered it. What I love about this mask is that you can just slap it on for a few minutes and it actually works. Of course when I have more time and leave it on for 10 minutes my skin feel even more amazing!

This is a really thick cream that tingles slightly when applied but that doesn’t last and definitely doesn’t cause any reaction on my skin. It is made for sensitive skin. In the winter months this has been a life saver. I often use this in the morning to boost my skin. I absolutely love this mask and will definitely be re-purchasing it.

Facial Exfoliators I am Loving

I went off physical exfoliation for a very long time and then recently (because of Trinny Woodhall!) I have started again and have noticed a huge difference in my skin texture. I started with the Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator (£15.75). This is a beautiful cream based exfoliator with Eucalyptus, Cocoa butter and jojoba beads (no micro beads please!). The eucalyptus smells lovely and the creamy texture means your skin is not dried out. This is very gentle and I use this everyday!

Another exfoliator I recently discovered is the Rio Rosa Mosqueta Skin Brightening Exfoliator (£8.95). Also cream based with Rosehip, Avocado, Shea butter and Golden Bamboo as the exfoliant. This is a bit harsher than the Liz Earle one but still very good. I tend to only use this when my skin is really feeling the need for something stronger! This brand is 100% natural organic skincare and all their products contain pure Chilean Rosehip Oil.  I am really impressed with this product and keen to try more form this brand.
