Yes more Charlotte Tilbury! I am obsessed I won’t lie. This is the new cream eyeshadow “Eyes to Mesmerise” in Bette (£22).
The texture is mousse-like but the pigment is incredibly vibrant. This colour is what I would call “old gold” I absolutely love this shade on my skin tone.
I have applied this with a MAC 217 but it works just as well with fingers, and lasts all day..of course.
Already plotting when I will get Marie Antoinette and Mona Lisa!
Jacket Earrings are everywhere and I finally found a pair I love. These are from Topshop and have semi-precious quartz which makes them just that bit more special (£12.50). They are a gorgeous design and make a real statement.
Another sneaky holiday purchase from Cyprus – Korres Perfume in Iris, Lily of the Valley & Cotton (Euro 36).
This is a slightly sweet, heady floral summer fragrance. I love the combination of scents and it lasts all day.
Who doesn’t love a good bargain the sales?! I grabbed this gorgeous mint Harriet Jacquard dress in Phase Eight reduced from £99 to £29!
I love the easy shift shape and the colour and pattern are so pretty.
Whilst I was on holiday in Cyprus I came across this brand in all the pharmacies – its called Apvita and is a natural cosmetics range.
I love discovering new stuff so I decided to try out a few things starting with their face masks. I went for the line reducing mask with grape and the moisturising mask with Aloe.
If you have a look on their website you will see that the masks have a whole range of lovely ingredients.
In the whole face mask line, they have replaced water with organic green tea infusion for its antioxidant action.
I love these masks, they are light and make my skin feel great after, I love that they have loads of natural ingredients.
Next I wanted to try these Herbal Creams.
I went for three.
First Eucalyptus which is known for its beneficial action in treating the cold symptoms. Second Arnica which is known for its property to reduce edema and improve microcirculation. Finally Propolis which is a bee product known for its mild antiseptic, antifungal and antibacterial properties.
I love the idea of these creams which have healing properties, they are great for travelling too. I have tried a couple of them and they are really effective.
And the last product I got from the range was the Propoline Moisturising Color Protecting Leave In Conditioner for All Hair Types. This conditioner if full of lovely ingredients including honey, olive oil, lavender and rosemary. This is a light cream that really adds moisture to my hair and gets rid of frizz. It smells ever so slightly of honey which is lovely!
I am super pleased with my holiday discovery!
Mio Skincare is a brand I have heard of but never tired anything from. I was browsing on Feel Unique (as you do!) and came across this body brush (£14.50). I have been thinking about starting to dry brush to keep my skin smooth and increase circulation so this was the perfect product for me.
I love that it comes in a handy waterproof travel bag!
I love the plastic nodules and firm bristles, they really feel like they are working together to exfoliate and give me a lymphatic massage.
I have just started using this a few mornings a week before my shower and I do love it. Its invigorating and my skin is looking lovely and smooth.
This is the relatively new Kiehls Iris Activating Treatment Essence (£36). Inspired by Asian skin care, its a moisturising liquid that you apply after cleansing and before your moisturiser.
As you can see its just like a slightly viscous liquid.
I generally pat this into my skin and I have to say it sinks in immediately and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. This essence not only hydrates but also gently exfoliates (using AHAs) and is also anti-ageing.
I am really loving using this as part of my skincare routine and so far my skin seems to be liking it too!
