Flirty Skirts

I love a good summer skirt and I have found two recently that really tick the boxes for me.

First is this cute light floral one from Primark (£8). It is a lovely shape, very flattering and not too short!

Next is this stunning dark floral skirt from River Island (£32 reduced to £20). I love the wrap front which makes it something different and again is really flattering.

The Button Front Dress

I have been looking for some button dresses and found these two in New Look (£22.99 each). I like that although they are exactly the same design, the different patterns really make them quite different to each other!

They have spaghetti straps, and buttons all the way down the front. At the back, the top part is elasticated & ruched which makes the fit much better and more comfortable.

First is this pretty, summery floral blue. I love this colour! Both dresses work well with a simple cardigan or denim jacket.

The second dress is a red striped one. This this looks smarter, although still very pretty and summery!

The Statement Dress

Every year I look for that one statement dress that will remain in my wardrobe for years and will always be a great investment. This year I found one in Zara.

I immediately fell in love with this dress, the design, the shape everything is perfect! It was £69.99 but I genuinely think that its worth it for a dress I know I will own for many years.

It is an unusual shape but is so flattering. I just think its a stand out piece!

Anna Glover for H&M

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Anna Glover for H&M collection. I have always loved floral designs and this collection is right up my street! Anna Glover is an award winning designer known for her prints. This collection is really beautiful with some standout pieces.

My first purchase was this beautiful floaty blouse (£24.99) with a pansy print. I love the shape and colours. Its such a pretty piece for the summer!

I then saw these beautiful trousers (see this post on printed trousers from H&M £19.99). I love the print so much and they are a really flattering shape.

My last purchase from this collection is this gorgeous T-shirt (£12.99) with an embellished shoulder. I love a classic white t-shirt but this is even better. The embroidery is so pretty and just makes a statement piece out of a simple tee!

The Perfect Printed Summer Trousers

I love anything with a bold print and these trousers from H&M (£19.99)are so perfect. They are a great combination of smart but funky!

First is this pretty pastel floral pair which works so well for the summer. I wear them with flats or heels depending on what vibe I am going for!

Next are these stunning palm print pair that is part of the Anna Glover collection.

The Summer Wrap

I know I have been absent for a really long time, but I am back and just in time for the summer!

I love summer fashion and this year its all about the wrap dress. I find that for my body shape (large bust medium hips/waist) they are so flattering and easy to wear. I do tend to wear a body under mine to keep any cleavage disasters at bay!

I have bought three wrap dresses all from Primark for £10 each. Such a bargain and they are so pretty.

First up is a classic blue with white spots – so cute and timeless.

Next is this beautiful green floral number.

Finally I love this darker floral print.

Winter Dress 3

The final part of my winter dress series features yet another H&M dress. This is an unusual dress, its high necked, long sleeved and quite long which could make the whole thing quite dowdy. However, the print, the flowy fabric and the ability to wear this dress in three different ways makes it a winner.

First just as it is.

Then with a belt changes the look completely.

And finally with jeans underneath. A modern take on wearing a dress.

Winter Dress Part 2

Part 2 of my Winter Dress series. This beauty is from H&M. It is a gorgeous print of birds and butterflies but because of the darker tones and long sleeves its the perfect winter dress. I love this with my trusted Jigsaw belt (many years old). Of course this dress will look amazing with winter ankle boots or long boots.

This was featured in the Guardian which I thought was worth mentioning!!

And of course must work well with a chunky cardigan!
