Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray

I have been testing out this setting spray from Makeup Revolution for a few months now and I am really loving it. It does exactly what it says – Oil Control Fixing Spray (£5). I find when I use this my skin is definitely less oily and my makeup lasts longer without needing touch-ups or powder.

Makeup Revolution is a really affordable brand and so far I love their products (see here) – they are great quality and definitely worth trying.

Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak

Yet another amazing discovery from my sister’s bathroom!! This is the Elemis Aching Muscles Super Soak (£36). This is an amazing bath soak with extracts of Birch, Juniper, Clove, Alpine Lavender, Wild Thyme and Blue Chamomile, combined with Sea Salt.

This stuff is potent and a capful is enough to fill your bathroom with the most amazing smells and leaves you relaxed and your muscles soothed. I love this after a hard session of hot yoga or just when I want to de-stress my mind. I don’t like bubbles, so I add this in towards the end of running my bath. It is pricey but I think its worth every penny- use sparingly and it lasts well.

Rose Shower Heaven

Another recent discovery from my sister’s bathroom! This huge shower gel from the band Jason is so gentle on your skin with no nasties in it. Of course the smell is amazing too. This huge bottle is £9.99 which I think is a bargain. I am always struggling with shower gels and I think this brand is now a going to be a firm favourite. There are load of different scents in the range including coconut, lavender, apricot..the list goes on! Definitely worth a try.

Bomb Cosmetics Bath Melts

I LOVE my baths and usually prefer a lovely aromatherapy oil like Lola’s Apothecary or Aromatherapy Associates. Sometimes, however, I go for a bath melt. This is mainly because I know my daughter loves them too! I especially like these from Bomb Cosmetics. I know I used to find these in some shops but now they seem to be online only in UK. I have to say though that their website is great and the delivery really quick.

They are are really reasonably priced between £3-4.

These are mainly the Bath Brûlées and as they are quite large you can use them up to 6 times, I have only managed 4 uses as I love the smell so much! I just drop it in the bath then take them out and put them in a bowl for next time (see below).

These are so cute but also really moisturising and good value too.

Natural Room Sprays

I recently discovered these aromatherapy room sprays from the brand Absolute Aromas in my sister’s bathroom! They are about £5 each and are really potent. I have three, the Breatheasy (to clear congestion) Prevention ( to ward off colds) and Relaxation( to calm). I love all them and think they are such good value. I use them as room spray but also as pillow sprays – my daughter loves the Relaxation one sprayed on her hot water bottle at bedtime!

L’Oreal Elvive – the Pink One

I am BIG fan of hair oils, especially those by L’Oreal and have done lots of posts on them (see here, here, here..!). I do quite like an oil spray and this L’Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Luminiser caught my eye. Its is a Shine Booster Spray which is what my hair needs – a good shot of shine without greasiness and that’s what this delivers.

It’s very lightweight and smells lovely. I have been using this daily and am really enjoying it. As my hair is so thick it never makes it greasy but is probably lighter than what I would normally use. I am not sure I would buy this again as I like something heavier but have definitely enjoyed using it.
